Submissions must be original, well-written and adhere to the guidelines
The subject matter of submissions must be appropriate in language and content for publication. Do not use profanity. Avoid biased or derogatory language. Avoid slang.
Include an appropriate and informative title for the article.
Include the author’s full name, pseudonyms will not be accepted.
150-word post except.
If images are included, submit in jpg only. Quality images only.
Post topic tags (ie Climate, data, historical)
Submit article in Microsoft Word document format (.doc or .docx) only.
Generalist Journal takes issues with copyright infringement, plagiarism or other breaches of best practice in publication very seriously. We seek to protect the rights of our authors and we always investigate claims of plagiarism or misuse of published articles. Equally, we seek to protect the reputation of the Generalist Journal. Where an article is found to have plagiarized other work or included third-party copyright material without permission or with insufficient acknowledgement, or where the authorship of the article is contested, we reserve the right to take action including, but not limited to: publishing an erratum or corrigendum (correction); retracting the article; or taking appropriate legal action.
Previous distribution and/or publication.
The author should disclose any prior distribution and/or publication of any portion of the material, to the Editor for the Editor’s consideration and ensure that appropriate attribution to the prior distribution and/or publication of the material is included.
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission from copyright holders for reproducing any illustrations, tables, figures or lengthy quotations previously published elsewhere.
All submissions are reviewed however, not all submissions will be published. Submissions will be published at the discretion of the editors. Submissions that are published may be edited for size, accuracy, content etc. and become the property of Generalist Journal.
